Grid Edge Award Badge.pngEnergyHub’s engineers are constantly optimizing our best-in-class DERMS platform, and industry experts have taken notice.

We are very pleased to announce that we have received a 2017 Grid Edge Award from Greentech Media for our Firm Load Dispatch algorithm.

Firm Load Dispatch (FLD) is a data-driven tool for optimizing load control events. FLD achieves a stable target load curve by coordinating the duty cycles of a population of devices through advanced machine learning, thermal modeling, and real-time device communication.

FLD is embedded in our DERMS and is available to any EnergyHub utility customer using our Mercury platform.

FLD was developed by a team led by EnergyHub’s Vice President of Analytics, Ben Hertz-Shargel. You can learn more about this cutting edge capability by downloading our white paper: Firm Load Dispatch: Remaking the DR Load Curve.
