Carrier and EnergyHub Release Energy Saving Thermostat Solution

FARMINGTON, Conn. and BROOKLYN, NY, October 3, 2012 – Carrier, the world’s leader in high-technology heating, air-conditioning and refrigeration solutions, and EnergyHub, the leading provider of web, mobile, and management software for thermostat OEMs, announce the integration of the Carrier® ComfortChoice® Touch thermostat featuring EnergyHub’s Mercury smart thermostat platform, a demand response and energy efficiency solution for electric utilities. The ComfortChoice Touch thermostat featuring an easy-to-use color touch screen with precise temperature control now integrates with EnergyHub’s Mercury smart thermostat platform. Mercury, with more than 100,000 thermostat installations, is a scalable and secure management solution for utility energy efficiency and demand response programs. This technology gives utility companies unified energy efficiency and a demand response system, while offering customers energy savings and improved experience with web and mobile control of their heating, ventilation and air conditioning system.
