EnergyHub appoints Erika Diamond as VP and GM, Energy Markets

New York, NY – March 3, 2015 – EnergyHub, a leading demand response solutions provider, today announced the appointment of Erika Diamond as Vice President and General Manager of Energy Markets.  Diamond will manage EnergyHub’s demand response aggregation business, making EnergyHub the first demand response provider with a full-time resource dedicated to building opportunities for Bring Your Own Thermostat℠ (BYOT) demand response.

EnergyHub is a leader in BYOT demand response services. BYOT programs allow utilities to access thermostats sold through retail, trade, and service provider channels for demand response, allowing the utility to reduce program implementation costs while providing choice and value to customers. EnergyHub has offered BYOT demand response services since 2012.

Most recently, Diamond was SVP of Corporate Development and Strategy at Recyclebank, a late-stage start up in the waste and recycling space, where she developed corporate and industry partnerships and drove development and maintenance of Recyclebank’s core products. Prior to Recyclebank, she was head of business development at ThinkEco, an Internet of Things technology company focused on energy efficiency solutions, where she helped build utility, retail, and corporate business while playing a key role in product development. Diamond holds a BA in environmental studies from Vassar College, a MESc from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies, and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. She is also a member of the advisory council of the NYPrize.
