Las Vegas – EnergyHub®, a leading home energy management systems provider, today announced that it will be exhibiting its energy saving solution at CES 2011. EnergyHub will be located within the ZigBee™ Alliance TechZone, booth 21418B, at the Las Vegas Convention Center – South Hall 1. The EnergyHub system features hardware, web, and mobile tools to help people understand and control their energy use.

CES show attendees are invited to visit and experience a live demonstration. EnergyHub will show how appliances and HVAC systems can all be wirelessly connected and tied to three simple energy use modes: home, away, and goodnight. Utility representatives can speak with EnergyHub experts about pilot program successes and how the system can help them improve relationships with their customers while offering advanced peak control functionality.

“CES is the nexus of technology and human interaction,” said Seth Frader-Thompson, CEO of EnergyHub. “We’re pleased to be a part of the ZigBee Alliance and look forward to demonstrating how EnergyHub can supplement utilities’ Smart Grid deployments while helping people to save every day,” he said.

EnergyHub will be showing its newly released iPhone/iPad/iPod mobile application, which allows users to make changes to their energy settings and turn connected appliances on or off while on the go. The app is downloadable free from the Apple App Store and is available immediately to pilot program users who have an EnergyHub system in their home.

Built with the homeowner in mind, the EnergyHub system features an easy-to-use and understand touch screen interface to pair devices, and to monitor and control appliances within the home. It creates a “Home Area Network,” (HAN) which is one of CES’ big themes this year. EnergyHub is proud to present its award-winning solution at this year’s show.
