EnergyHub Team
June 10, 2010
Marina Teper, EnergyHub’s Program Director, and Susan Gunn, Energy Efficiency Account Executive at Consolidated Edison Company of New York, participated in a panel at the 3rd Annual Home Area Networks Conference held on Jun 10 – Jun 11 in Chicago, IL. EnergyHub and Consolidated Edison are currently partnered in a pilot to install more than 100 of Energyhub’s award-winning in-home displays and consumer web portals allowing consumers accurate monitoring and greater control over their energy usage.
The objective of Con Edison’s Smart Grid pilot program is to build a Smart Grid prototype that would demonstrate many high-tech and intelligent components including two-way communication between the company and the customer. Consolidated Edison will test the benefits of the EnergyHub solution over the coming months and use the results as a model of how a potential large –scale deployment might work in a dense urban area such as New York City, which has one of the highest load densities in the world.
