Brodie O'Brien
Senior Integrated Marketing Manager
Q: Why do you work at EnergyHub?
A: Working at EnergyHub allows me to use my marketing skills to tell our clients' decarbonization stories and to encourage others to join them in being part of the solution to the climate crisis.
Q: Why did you come to EnergyHub?
A: I've had the good fortune to work in a variety of roles aligned with my values, from collaborating with Patagonia and Clif Bar at 1% for the Planet to running social mission campaigns at Ben & Jerry's. But when my wife and I welcomed our first child, I felt called to work confronting the climate crisis head on. When I saw a marketing role at EnergyHub, I jumped at the opportunity.
Q: How does working here align with your values?
A: My career trajectory - from the non-profit sector, to business school, to Ben & Jerry's and now to EnergyHub - has been guided by a desire to use my marketing skills to make the world a better place. At EnergyHub, every story I tell and client relationship I help build advances our work to address the climate crisis.

Q: What's your advice for job seekers looking for meaningful work on climate?
A: No matter your background there's a role out there where you can use your abilities to address climate change. In all likelihood, your skills are more transferable than you think. Make the leap!
Q: What is your favorite local spot to grab a bite?
A: Pingala Cafe's Brocoli Bar food cart, hands down! As a vegetarian who worked the concert circuit for Ben & Jerry's, I'd live on their signature dish "The Big Sexy" at music festivals. Make sure you double down on the spicy aioli.
