The EnergyHub Wireless Thermostat replaces a customer’s existing thermostat and, when combined with the EnergyHub Home Base, serves as a programmable communicating thermostat (PCT). The Wireless Thermostat is compatible with a wide variety of residential heating and cooling systems. Using its built-in wireless connection, it can receive setpoint and schedule changes initiated by the user either from inside the home or remotely. The Wireless Thermostat can also respond to utility-initiated demand response events.
- Includes the HVAC control functionality of a programmable communicating thermostat (PCT). Along with the EnergyHub Home Base, the Wireless Thermostat lets consumers manage their heating and cooling systems, the biggest energy users in most homes.
- Allows for simple temporary overrides that still maintain the customer's energy-saving program settings. The user can press the + or – button on the Home Base to apply a temporary adjustment until the next scheduled program period.
- Supports HVAC-targeted demand response events. The Wireless Thermostat can receive direct HVAC load control events from the utility or can respond to price-based events according to the user's configurable preferences.
- Enables live reporting with complete measurement & verification of demand response events via Utility Web Portal.
- Can be "skinned" or branded for the utility. The Wireless Thermostat can be customized to include the logo of the utility's logo.
