Track and tame every energy hog

The EnergyHub Socket is a simple device that wirelessly connects EnergyHub’s Home Base to the individual appliances in a user’s home—everything from window air conditioners to space heaters. Consumers can track electricity consumption and automate control of appliances and devices, reducing waste and saving money. Each Socket communicates the energy use of its attached appliance back to the Home Base and can be configured to respond to load control events issued by the customer’s electric utility.
Specifications
  • Attaches directly to existing wall outlets for easy installation. No electrician or professional installer is required for EnergyHub Sockets. The Sockets are designed to fit into any standard outlet.
  • Reports individual appliances' electricity use to EnergyHub's HomeBase. The wireless connection between each Socket and the Home Base allows consumers to monitor their devices in real time.
  • Controls individual appliances. Each Socket can respond to commands from the Home Base, EnergyHub's consumer web portal, or directly from the utility itself to turn the attached devices on/off, making it capable of responding to utility load control events.
  • Offers modularity and expandability. Consumers can add additional Sockets to their homes to control and measure as many devices as they choose.
