EnergyHub becomes first DERMS to integrate with Nest dispatch API

New York, NY – May 8, 2017 – EnergyHub announced today that it has expanded its partnership with Nest by integrating with Nest’s new dispatch API, making Mercury the only DERMS in the industry with that capability.

EnergyHub’s integration with Nest now provides EnergyHub utility customers with an even greater ability to manage Nest Learning Thermostats from EnergyHub’s Mercury platform, including the ability to both enroll and dispatch Nest Thermostats as part of demand response programs managed by EnergyHub.

More than 30 utilities around the country use EnergyHub’s Mercury DERMS and program management services to run successful demand response and DER programs.

Nest Thermostats offer a wide range of features that help customers stay comfortable while managing home energy consumption. It remembers what temperatures customers like, creates a custom schedule for the home, and turns itself down when everyone is away. Nest Thermostats have been proven by independent researchers to save customers, on average, about 10 to 12 percent on their heating bills and about 15 percent on their cooling bills.
